How Do These Glass Shelf Studs Work?

A 1/4″-20 threaded stud passes through a pre-drilled hole in the cabinet’s side panel. The shelf support screws onto this stud, creating a sturdy peg for the shelf to rest on. Three rubber cushion rings fit around the support where it contacts the glass, protecting the shelf and ensuring a snug, non-slip fit. This system keeps shelves firmly in place without scratching or chipping.

What Glass Thicknesses Are Compatible?

This model accommodates glass from 3/16″ to 3/8″ thick. This versatile range works for standard 6mm glass shelving or thicker panels for heavier displays.

What Are the Installation Requirements?

For wood or metal side panels, drill a 1/4-inch diameter through-hole to accept the threaded stud. For glass side panels, a 3/8-inch hole is required. Supports have a length of 7/8 inches. For thicker non-glass panels, the threaded rod can be replaced with longer CRL AS14 Series options.
